We are seeking a positive, organized, and energetic inspanidual to recruit and train volunteers for community preparedness initiatives in the Coastal Bend area. This role is perfect for self-motivated inspaniduals who excel at public speaking and love engaging with others. Position Details:
- Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends
- Requirements: Reliable vehicle, ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Workplace: Tobacco and drug-free environment; criminal background check required
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard new volunteers
- Schedule and conduct in-person orientations
- Assist with social media and distribute program information
- Deliver training and outreach events outside of normal business hours
- Supervise volunteers during events, training, and deployments
- Provide feedback and after-action reports for all activities
- Maintain communication records with volunteers and community members
Additional Duties May Include:
- Participating in meetings with stakeholders to help develop volunteer programs
- Engaging in exercises related to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery
Required Skills:
- Must be able to plan and execute job duties independently
- Bilingual candidates preferred
Payment Details
$ 19 paid on per Hour basis
