Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and systems in a manufacturing facility. Duties:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including scissor lifts, to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan. - Utilize technical sales knowledge to identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and recommend repair or replacement as necessary. - Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, daily checks throughout facility
- Repair equipment during operational breakdowns.
- Be able to perform electrical, mechanical and automation trouble shooting of equipment. Includes photoelectrical sensors, proximity sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, relay logic, PLC's pneumatic cylinder/ actuators, cam indexing, servo motors, VFD drives.
- Develop documentation and SOP's for routine repair and preventive maintenance
Maintain equipment and clean debris and tools from work area upon completion of repairs or lubrication. - Complete reports and requisitions as needed
- Complete work order request as assigned.
Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Dairy, Beverage or Food Manufacturing line atmosphere.
- Must be able to operate mechanical equipment. - Proven experience with high voltage systems and equipment. - Strong understanding of technical sales principles and the ability to communicate
effectively with customers. - Understand the concepts and operational properties of steam, air, mechanical, electrical, Allen Bradley Processors and PLC's - Ability to fabricate and repair parts and components as needed. - Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma and Trade School Certificate, college degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) in an Dairy, Beverage or Food Manufacturing line industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Must have computer skills, particularly Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and CAD.
Willing to get your hands dirty
• Must be able to read electrical and mechanical drawings and PIDs. Experience with ladder logic diagrams is a plus.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: 3rd shift
working Overnight shift , weekends as needed
Location to work: In person ( Sun Valley, CA )
