Job Description
As a volunteer for the Annual DCE DIT annual alumni Meet 2025, you’ll be part of the core team that ensures a successful event. You’ll assist with event logistics, attendee coordination, and provide on-site support to create an enjoyable and engaging experience. This role offers valuable event management experience, networking opportunities with alumni and industry leaders, and a chance to contribute to the DCE DIT legacy.
Responsibilities
- Event Setup & Coordination: Assist with venue setup, signage, registration desk, and ensure all materials are ready.
- Guest Registration: Welcome guests, handle check-ins, and provide information about event activities and locations.
- Session Support: Guide attendees to their sessions, assist speakers, and manage timing for smooth session transitions.
- Technical & AV Assistance: Help with basic audio/visual setup, troubleshoot minor issues, and liaise with technical support as needed.
- Networking Support: Facilitate networking sessions, help connect alumni, and assist in fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Post-Event Wrap-Up: Aid in clean-up, collect feedback from attendees, and help organize post-event materials.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for DCE DIT Community: Passionate about creating a memorable experience for alumni and current students.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Friendly and able to interact comfortably with a spanerse audience.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Able to multitask and handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinker and capable of addressing minor issues that may arise during the event.
- Flexibility & Reliability: Willing to commit to pre-event preparations, day-of-event support, and post-event wrap-up.
